Vampire Valentine release their debut EP Pale Dawn today, April 17, 2026, via Morella Records. Seven tracks deep and uncompromising in its vision, Pale Dawn is the statement of a band who know exactly what they are and have no intention of being anything else. The EP is available now on cassette (MOR260021) and across all major digital streaming platforms.
Pale Dawn arrives backed by the momentum of two well-received singles. Skin, released March 27, 2026, drew immediate attention for its sharp observation and dark atmosphere, earning strong engagement across the goth and darkwave communities. Tears, the EP's centrepiece, has established itself as one of the band's most affecting pieces, its restrained intensity and haunting vocal delivery hitting precisely the notes that define what Vampire Valentine do best.
The EP follows the band's debut full-length album Dry Remains, released January 14, 2026, which established Vampire Valentine as a compelling new voice in the UK goth scene and led directly to their signing with Morella Records, the Georgia-based independent label dedicated to gothic rock, deathrock, darkwave, and post-punk. Vampire Valentine holds the distinction of being Morella Records' first signing, a relationship built on a shared understanding of what this music is and what it is supposed to do.

Track Listing and Descriptions
1. Pale Dawn (Intro)
An atmospheric opening that sets the emotional register for everything that follows. Sparse, brooding, and deliberate, it establishes the world the listener is about to enter.
2. Tears
The emotional heart of the EP. Built around a repeated refrain that accumulates weight with each pass, Tears captures grief and resignation with a precision that is difficult to shake. Booming bass and understated guitars frame a vocal performance that carries the full weight of the lyric.
3. Skin
The lead single, released March 27, 2026. Sharp-edged and observational, Skin moves with the kind of darkwave energy that made Vampire Valentine's earlier work so immediately compelling. The Sisters of Mercy influence is present but worn lightly, the sound belonging unmistakably to the band.
4. Crimson
One of the EP's most urgent tracks. A city burning as backdrop, a relationship fraying at the edges, and a guitar line that refuses to let up. Crimson is Vampire Valentine at their most direct.
5. Pulse
Momentum and darkness in equal measure. Pulse earns its name, driving forward with a rhythmic insistence that keeps the listener locked in through to its finish.
6. Fangs (Instrumental)
A showcase for the band's sonic architecture without the anchor of vocals. Atmospheric and deliberate, Fangs demonstrates how much weight the instrumentation carries on its own.
7. Bleak Delusions (Outro)
A fitting close. The world the EP opened with contracts back to something quieter, and the listener is left with the residue of everything that came before.
